Who’s the New Fashion Designer in London

She is a regular for being on the list of the worlds best dressed and she is taking her style to London next week. Who are we talking about, the one and only, actress, Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow collaborated with ZOEtee’s to launch her line. The style is actually casual style, something not often seen on Gwyneth. She is usually seen wearing her micro-hemlines and heels.
ZOEtee’s is known for jerseys and their loungewear so I believe Gwyneth’s line of style will lean to the more casual wear with a little touch of Gwyneth. There are rumors that the line will be tailored to the more masculine 1970s look. All the proceeds from her collection will go to a charity called the London's Kid's Company.
Other news about Gwyneth, she is in the process of writing a cookbook. Gwyneth is doing many things right now. Aside from her cookbook and her fashion line, it seems as though she is moving away from her acting…for now. It does not look like she has much time on her hands now. In addition, as I had mentioned in a previous week Gwyneth has her own website, GOOP. GOOP is a lifestyle website and Gwyneth and other professionals give some personal views on various subjects.
One project she was planning to launch may be affected by the economic downturn. Gwyneth was going to launch a chain of gyms using her personal trainer. This may be put on hold for now, not many people want to fork out $4500 (£3100) just for a membership fee. Wow! I thought the blue collar gyms were expensive. I hope you see the difference on the first workout.

Jenny Craig has done wonders for people, but this program is being exposed more since celebrities have joined the program while the people watch the pounds shred off. Celebrities such as Kirstie Alley, Queen Latifah, Baron Davis and the current spokesperson from The Cosby Show, Phylicia Rashad have used Jenny Craig. However, Valerie Bertinelli, looks really good. She weighed at 172 lbs. and now she is at 132 lbs. I have to say her body looks like a 20 year old. Jenny Craig has done wonders for many, however, what does Jenny really do? She weighs out the portions, packages it and you pay for that. I think it would be cheaper to measure the portions myself. I suppose it depends on the person, some people need it made for them because they are not strong enough to say away from having a second portion. But how do people stay away from getting a second portion while on Jenny? Along with Jenny, Bertinelli walked 10,000 steps a day and she says before long she was running up to week times a week. When the time was coming for that bikini she agreed to wear in public, she cut her calories from 1,700 to 1,200 and she stopped drinking her usual "splurge" glass of champagne.
Well Bertinelli is in the best shape of her life. She says, "I never, ever, ever had deltoids!” Now when she exercises she says she can see them pop out. It is obvious to me that watching your portions and exercising, especially running will give you a body to die for! Well, I know my plan…see you on the treadmill!

Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy Off or On

A five-year relationship between Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy is in question. Are they together or not? They have broken up three times back in January was this third time and a source says this third time is the last time. This time was Davy’s decision to break up because she could not handle his lifestyle not because of fidelity or another woman. She had said she did not want to "put up with his lifestyle" and "time spent apart," according to sources. Prince Harry has been training fly with the Army Air Corps; he wants to become an Army Air Corps helicopter pilot.
On the contrary, to what some sources have said a couple of months ago, more sources has spotted the couple sneaking around on the weekends together in London. This past Friday they were seen at The Lightbox, a nightclub in London. What was funny is that Prince Harry had a disguise on. He had a black wig on. Yes, the 23 year old was wearing a wig and hiding, from what or whom, no one knows.
Someone needs to tell them that they will not be in trouble if they are dating, they are grown ups. Their parents cannot ground them anymore either so what is the problem that they are hiding? The only problem the couple has is when Prince Harry does leave to fly with the Army Corps. it will only be harder to be apart. Cut it off now if that is the decision. Have not they heard Dr. Phil’s advice on break-ups?

Amy Winehouse is Being Charged With Assault

Singer Amy Winehouse, 25 is being charged with assault that happened last September.
Amy is pleading not guilty to hitting a fan, Sherene Flash at the posh End Of Summer Ball in London's Berkeley Square.
A dancer, Sherene Flash told tabloids that she was hit in the eye by Winehouse after she asked to take a picture with the Grammy-winning singer at a concert.
She appeared in court on the 17th of March in a floral print, low-cut dress and four-inch pink stilettos. This outfit showed off all of her tattoos, and her bra strap. Way to impress the judge Amy.
Why is Amy hitting her fans just because they want to take a picture with them? She seems to be a harm to others and herself. She is always in the news for something bad. She is always getting arrested for assault or drugs. The girl head butted a man outside a London bar. Why does she do these things? Now her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil is filing for divorce after her supposed adultery with Joshua Bowman. Bowman says they are just friends and she is a “cool girl,” She's a good laugh–she is such a lovely girl and on great form." Yea she is very lovely as she knocks someone out for wanting a picture…lovely. Fielder-Civil said he was divorcing her out of love and he was the one who turned Winehouse into an addict but when in course on the 17th, Winehouse proclaimed her name Amy Jade Civil. So we do not know for sure if she will be divorced as of yet but it is clear the woman needs some help.

Jade Goody Dies While Sleeping

Jade Goody dies early Sunday morning while she was sleeping. Jade Goody was 27 years old and rose to fame on the British version of the reality show Big Brother back in 2002. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August and in February, she was told that the cancer had spread and only had a few months to live.
It has been a touching last few months as we watched her get married and her baptism with her and her two boys Bobby, 5, and Freddy, 4. Shortly after the baptism, she was sent home to spend her last days with family and friends. She then lost sight in one eye and was devastated that she would not be able to see her boys before she goes. In pictures, she always was smiling even during a difficult situation to cope with. I cannot imagine how everyone was feeling inside.
Her publicist Max Clifford said, "She had been pretty much asleep for the last 24 hours," then dies before 4 o’clock in the morning. Goody’s mother and husband were at her bedside when she passed. Her mother told Clifford, "My beautiful daughter has gone to sleep, has gone." Her mother was devastated, as any mother would be even though you knew it was coming.
I think this situation was an eye opener for many. Jade Goody was not a known person and we knew more about her because of the cancer rather than the television show. Clifford said, "Her legacy will be that a lot of women owe their lives to Jade Goody because of her public announcement and battle against cervical cancer." Goody’s circumstance has led to better knowledge of cancer and having the screening essential to catch it.

Chaos at America's Next Top Model Auditions

Tyra is ready to do another season of America’s Next Top Model but are the ladies ready to audition or ready to fight? Filling the streets of Manhattan were more than 10,000 women waiting to audition to the reality television show. There were some who camped overnight just to get a chance to be on the show. Tension was already brewing in the crowd because of the long hours of waiting but what was the clincher was when a car overheated and blew smoke; this prompted a woman to yell aloud, “There’s a bomb.” That is all it took, then many women just broke out in a fight.
Six women were injured and had to go to the hospital for medical attention. Two women and one man were arrested for disorderly conduct and inciting a riot charges. The auditions had to be cancelled because of this uncontrollable crowd. A couple of girls spoke to the New York Daily News and one says, 'The girls were running like it was 9/11 part two. I feared for my life.' Another says 'All of a sudden, we heard this roar from behind us and there was a wave of people falling on top of us.'
It is a shame people cannot get a grip of themselves.
There were shoes and clothing littered outside the hotel
I wonder if these same women will be at the audition when it is rescheduled. One was quoted to say, "This is my dream, so I'm not going to give up." Well, let us see if they can act appropriately next time.

Robbie Williams is Back

Robbie Williams the ten time BRIT Award-winning English singer-songwriter has left L.A. to return to the British soil. His sister, Sally Symonds said he missed his home and for the past 12-18 months he has been wanting to go back home.   She says although he loved L.A. and the sun shining, it is a soulless place.
Williams has a girlfriend Ayda Field and it is said she was hesitant to put her career on hold, but she says she will probably fly between the UK and the US as needed.
That will be a big leap for her, but they say she knows what she is in for. She previously visited Williams' hometown in the Midlands last year. William’s sister says, “He brought her home to Stoke a few months ago and she seemed a very kind, pleasant, down-to-earth girl.” So, it would seem she would fit in just fine, maybe a little home sick though since her family is in the States. It is a big step for her especially since the couple has not even talked about getting married. I must say, I am not confident this relationship will work because Ayda is changing her lifestyle, yes for someone she loves, but when she starts to travel, we will see how much she is willing to do this.
Williams also filmed an exclusive Little Britain sketch for Comic Relief. He plays an American little girl called Candy Marie-Candy and is dressed in a pink dress with pigtails. Even dressed as a girl he is still cute! The scene will be on Friday night on BBC1.
Williams’ career started as a member of the band Take That and went solo in 1995. He   sold more albums in the UK than any other British solo artist in history did!

Will The Bachelor Stay A Bachelor

If you are a fan of The Bachelor you are probably aware that Jason Mesnick dumped the winner of the show Melissa Rycroft six weeks after the show. There are rumors that Jason was forced to break up with in her public, per their contract. However, The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss denies there was ever such a contract. He says that would be impossible. Fleiss says, "How would you present that in a contract anyways? Like, 'Everything you do with your life must be shown on ABC?' It's impossible. There would be no way to legislate that." More rumors were said that Rycroft was surprised by the break up. This is also said to be untrue. Fleiss adds, "They'd been talking and they'd been seeing each other and I think it was clear to both of them that there were problems with the relationship at that point. As I understand it they were all but broken up prior to the show. I don't think she knew that she was going to give him back the ring, but I think she knew that they weren't gonna be together. So she definitely wasn't completely blindsided by the situation." What was a shock to Rycroft was the fact that Mesnick revealed his feelings toward runner up, Molly Malaney. Rycroft knew their relationship was not going to work but she did not think Molly had anything to do with it. I wonder how she feels now. She has not done any interview and she is not entitled to do so either.
As for Mesnick and Malaney, She is giving him another chance so maybe he will finally get married.

When to Splurge or Save on Your Hair

Spring is approaching and you can put away your hats. Let your hair flow through the wind ladies. Women love to style and curl our hair, use headbands, barrettes, and other related hair products for our hair. However, the question is when do I know what to spend more money on and what should I spend less for these products. Let me share with you some tips.
First, you do want to spend on the grooming supplies. Spending a few extra bucks on brushes is alright to do. You do not want to be struggling with brushing the tangles out. a great vent brush is great for brushing through the tangles. A roller brush is necessary, blow-dry your hair with this brush to make your hair nice and smooth. It is ok to save on shampoo. You wash your hair everyday anyway so as long as it is a trusted brand, you might as well save some money and spend it on the brushes. Hair comes in all conditions. Some are oily, dry, perm or dyed hair. Read the brand and make sure you are buying one that fits your hair type. A couple common brands to mention are Herbal Essences and TRESemmé. They are inexpensive and they work just fine.
The last but not least, spend money on deep conditioner. A deep conditioner should be used on your hair weekly, especially since you are now saving on shampoo. This will provide moisture to dehydrated or over-processed hair.
